About the Big Pitch in Partnership with TIFF
For over 15 years, The Big Pitch is a special industry event presented by CaribbeanTales Media Group (CTMG) in Partnership with TIFF Industry that takes place during the Toronto International Film Festival.
It’s designed as a pitch forum and networking platform for emerging and mid‑career BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour) filmmakers to present their project ideas to industry professionals — including producers, broadcasters, distributors, and funders — with the goal of securing mentorship, support, and potential deals for their film and TV projects. Prizes include Jury Award, Audience Award and Best Pitch.
