Biography: Victoria Thomas is a BAFTA-nominated producer and director whose work explores storytelling through the lens of cultural equity and global collaboration. She focuses on narratives centering the experiences of people of African descent, with recent credits including African Queens (Netflix, 2023). Victoria is developing projects with support from BBC Northern Ireland, Screen Scotland, and CNC. She leads the MA in International Film Business at London Film School and lectures at Queen Margaret University. As research lead for No Password Required, she is launching the UK’s first market for Black and Global South producers in 2025, advancing equity across the industry.
