Biography: Sophie is a Trinidad and Tobago-born filmmaker with a degree in Film Production and Film Studies from the University of the West Indies (2018). She has worked as an editor and producer on a range of corporate, commercial, and narrative projects. Her feature editing debut, Back to Freeport, premiered in 2017, followed by the award-winning Grace & Saleem (2020). A DEENTAL and UNESCO Transcultura alum, she continues to develop work internationally, including a TV series in development selected for Series Mania. Sophie is committed to creating bold, artistically rich Trinbago stories that resonate both locally and globally.
