Biography: After earning her MSc at University College London, Nauzanin transitioned from publishing to filmmaking. Her work includes writing, directing, and producing films like #SHADESOFWORTH (2021), My Lyric I Never Knew (CBC), Precarity (TELUS Optik), and ColorBlind (CineFAM Award Winner, 2022). Currently directing White Sands (NFB), she examines white supremacy’s roots in Barbados. Nauzanin has been a Story Editor on Hudson & Rex and directed The Sugar Mama (2023). As Executive Producer of 1844 Studios, she champions international collaborations and diversity through initiatives like BE Collective. Her leadership drives impactful storytelling and inclusion in Canada’s film and television industry.
