Biography: Lauren Taylor Gee is a British Jamaican Producer studying at the National Film and Television School in the UK. Her work focuses on documenting the nuances of Black and global majority communities. With a background in film archives, she explores preserving memory through storytelling. Lauren has produced fiction, documentaries, and artist films, including ‘Viva Voce’ for Tate Britain and the Warner Bros documentary ‘Dancing on Road.’ She also curates films, championing Black and marginalized voices, such as her Caribbean diaspora program for the London Short Film Festival. Lauren is developing projects with Trinidadian filmmaker Shari Petti, highlighting Caribbean-UK connections.
