Biography: Jen Holness is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and producer. Her documentary Subjects of Desire premiered at SXSW and was a TIFF Top Ten film. She created BLK: AN ORIGIN STORY, winning 5 Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Director. Currently, she’s co-directing #WhileBlack with Sundance, POV, and BBC, and developing Nothing Fits, exploring fashion and body size. Jen produced RT Thorne’s thriller 40 Acres and her films Home Again and Love, Sex, and Eating the Bones have earned global acclaim. Named Indiescreen Producer of the Year (2021) and among THR’s Most Influential Women in Film, Jen co-founded the Black Screen Office in Canada.
