Biography: Camille Selvon is an award-winning digital media expert and head of Animation at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. As founding Director of the Animae Caribe Festival, she has championed Caribbean animation for over 22 years. She led the IDB-funded TTAP Factory, creating global opportunities for graduates and independent animators. A global speaker, she’s presented at CANEX and the UN MIPAD forum. Her accolades include awards from the Royal Television Society in the United Kingdom and Caribbean Tales in Toronto Canada. Her latest initiative, Animae Caribe House, supports small and micro studios in the Caribbean to collaborate and co-produce to create and seed Caribbean IPs in animated content.
