“Brittany Suzanne Kelly is the first Film Commissioner of the Cayman Islands, appointed in March 2025 to lead the destination’s growing film industry. An award-winning writer and producer, they have worked across film, digital media, and live content. Brittany was a Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Diverse Voices Screenwriting Competition from WeScreenplay and named one of ISA’s 25 Writers to watch in 2022. From 2020 to 2023, they played a key role in financial coordination and production operations at Westbrook Media during its rapid expansion. As the founder of Strike Twice Creative production company, they have spearheaded filmmaking workshops, provided script development services, and produced projects in London, Los Angeles and the Cayman Islands.
