About Cross Continental Forum
September 2026 to September 2027
The Cross Continental Forum (CCF) is a year-long international co-production platform for Black and Global Majority producers from Africa, the Caribbean, Canada, the UK, Europe, Latin America and their wider diasporas. The programme includes an online Co-Production Accelerator, two in-person matchmaking markets and a final pitch showcase. These activities provide opportunities for participants to meet producers, potential partners, financiers, broadcasters, distributors, sales agents, funders and other industry professionals.
CCF is produced by CaribbeanTales Media Group (CTMG), an established media group with 26 years of experience delivering international training, mentorship and professional development programmes. CTMG works across the full media value chain, including development, production, festivals, markets, distribution, broadcasting and audience development.
CCF is designed to address barriers faced by Black and Global Majority-owned companies within the international co-production landscape. Its decolonial approach aims to strengthen their capacity to participate as lead and equal partners, retain greater ownership of their intellectual property, develop more sustainable businesses, and pursue financing, market partnerships, distribution opportunities and international co-production agreements.
